COVID-19 Information

The SC Pecan Music and Food Festival is continuing to monitor COVID-19 and is planning to host the 19th Annual event with modifications to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. Policies and procedures listed below are subject to change.

COVID-19 Attendee Policy

If you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms or feel unwell, if you or household member has been exposed to COVID-19 at any time within 14 days prior to the festival, or if you or a household member has tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the festival, please do not attend.

Due to crowd levels, mask-wearing is encouraged, but not required in areas of the festival where social-distancing is not possible.

All attendees acknowledge that exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present; the SC Pecan Music and Food Festival cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. The CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Vendors and attendees should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to attend. People who show no symptoms can still spread COVID-19 if they are infected; any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19. By attending the SC Pecan Music and Food Festival, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks associated with attendance, and agree to hold the SC Pecan Music and Food Festival, Florence Downtown Development Corp., and its sponsors, agents, staff, and volunteers harmless.

Dining tents will have tables separated according to SC DHEC and accelerateSC guidelines for restaurant seating, with no more than eight seats to a table and appropriate spacing between each table. We kindly ask that you do not move tables or seating.

Capacity on amusement rides and in attractions may be limited to allow visitors enough space for social distancing.

Additional sanitation measures have been implemented. This includes high touch point areas being cleaned more frequently and providing additional hand sanitizing locations and restroom facilities throughout the festival.

Attendees not respectful toward festival staff, volunteers, vendors, and other attendees may be asked to leave the festival. The SC Pecan Music and Food Festival needs attendees to do their part by adhering to COVID-19 policies so that we can continue to operate responsibly and safely.
